Messrs. Dalßety and Co.. Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a, good entry of cattlo and,a email yarding of sheep at their Fcilding Bale on Friday. Messrs. Levin and 00. report:—During the past week we hold yard sates at Bulls and r'eiiding, a dairy rale on account of Mr. W\ Boneham, and a olearing sale in conjunction with Messrs. Dalßety oud Co.. on account of Mr. F. Thompson. At Hulls, considerably more stock came forward than advertised. The entry of sheep consisted chiefly of fat ewes, which were in good demand. In cattle we offered some good sorts of springing hotfers, which wero well competed for. Other classes wore in fair demand. At the sale of dairy cattle on account of Mr. W. Bonchaiii, held in conjunction with Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd.; good prices were paid for best evade cows. At Mr Fairfield Thompson's salo tho various lines of ewes with lambs wero well competed for, and made satisfactory prices. At Feuding wo had a small offering of sheep and a heavy yarding of cattle. All sheep sold well. Tho demand for dairy stock was good. Fats and yoirnsr cattle also sold well, but grown.oattlo wero not in much demand, buyers being Shy to operate at present high prices.
