Lieut. A. M. Jameson has reported for duly at Featherston, and has been appointed provost-marshal. The fotnrdug temporary appointments have been approved by tho Camp Commandant at Trontham:—Pte. (Howitzer Battery), to be bombardier; Corpl. H. Southgato, A Coy., 17th, to be sergeant; Lce.-Corpl. TV. M. Rose, A Coy., 17th, to be corporal. Tho cup presented by the Camp Commandant at Featherston for the best-kept huts and lines has 'been awarded to the 20th, N.Z.F.A., for tho week ending September 23.
