"With a view to correcting misconceptions, it is officially explained that it is not intended to disturb tho system of dealing with Home supplies of coal under the Price of Coal Limitation Act through the Board of Trade. Moreover exports and supplies lor bunkers will continue, controlled by various committees under the Government's direction, and supplies to France, Russia, and Italy will proceed in accordance with existing arrangements. Lord Milncr's inquiries will load to closer co-operation between the committees, but tho Government docs not contemplate any change. .
