Captain Ryan, lot© of tho Karamu, is in charge of the Kaituna, which arrived iu port yesterday, Captain Saunders of the Kaituna having gono on leave. The Huddart-Parkor Company adviso that tho Victoria is duo here from Dunedin on Thursday, and has 220 tons to land. She will sail the same afternoon Tor Sydney, via East Coast and Auckland, will leave Auckland on September 25. Owing to being delayed on the bast Coast bv bad weather, the Echo will not arrivo in port till this mornmg._ She leaves for the East Coast later in the Messrs. Burns. Philp and Co. adviso that tho cargo which is being brought to Now Zealand by tho AliiU Maru, and. which will he discharged at Wellington, consists of 1033 tons for Wellington, 560 tons for Auckland, 378 tons Sor Christohurch, 304 tons for Dunedin, 16 tons for Gisborne. 12 tons for Bluff, and 15 tons for Napier. The vessel is due here on Friday. ' It is unlikely that the Komata will sail before Friday or the Wanaka before Saturday. Both vessels are going to Westport. An effort is being made to get the Kamona away for Greymouth to-day. Sho te to load back to Wellington. Lata last night the Kamo sailed for Westport. where sho is to load for Lytteltttfl. Owing to being repaired, tho Nr/ahere, which arrived in port from north, yesterday, and which haa finished discharging; will not be able to eet away for Groymouth until Thursday. ; Mr. 0. J. Hughes, mate on tho Tutikl. has signed off, vnd has been replaced by Mr. P. Hart. Tho chief ongineer. Mr W. Graham, has also signed off. and has been replaced by Mr. W. 0. F. Richardson Mr. A. Pyper. first mate on the Karu. has signed off, aud has heon replaced by Mr. G. W. Godfrey. Mr. G. AHport, Secretory of Marino, advises that the boys who were transferred from tho Amokura to tho Tutauekai on account of measles, have now all recovered, and have gone away on a throeweeks' holiday. Tho Tutanekai has re. turnod from tho stream to tho Clyde Quay Wharf, where she is being fumigated. The Government steamer Hineraoa is at present at Kaipara, whero she is putting a light on a new buoy, and also over, hauling buoys. She leaves Kaipara on Thursday for Onehunga, and is duo in Wellington on Saturday. The 0. and D. Line advise that the Port Napier is delayed in Melbourne owing to hcavv weather, and cannot leave Sydney until September 30. Sho will arrive at Aaokland about Ootobor 5. and at Wcl- | lington about Ootobor 12.
