"The War and Labour's Destiny"was the subject of an address by SirVictor Grayson, an. ox-British Labour M.P., which was delivered in the Alexandra Hall under the auspices 'of the Wellington Social and Democratic Party la6t evening. There were about 100 persons present. The lecturer's little stories and illustrations were exceptionally well told and appeared to bo much appreciated by thoso present. The spcakor produced various well-worn arguments of an advanced Socialistic character to illustrate how the war was affecting and would affect the working classes in the future. On Thursday evening Mr. firayson will lecture on "The Coming Revolution," and on, Sunday his subject will bo "The Altar of Mammon."
