A join commission for tho revision of the Protestant Episcopal Prayer Book has recommended sweeping changes in tbe marriage service, which will be considered at the Triennial Convention in October. ' The changes include the omission of the bride's promise to obey, and also of the bridegroom's promise' to endow the brido with his worldly goods.
