FOOD RIOTS IN HAMBURG Australian-New Zealand Cable Association. (Rec. September 15, 9.50 p.m.) ■ Amsterdam, September 14. The most violent food riots have occurred at Hamburg. Large crowds raided the butchers' shops, "shouting "Down with the Junkers, the people's torturers." There were numerous arrests. BOSPHORUS TUNNEL SOME NEGOTIATIONS WITH TURKEY Australian-New Zealand Cable Association. (Rec. September 15, 9.50 p.m.) Amsterdam, September 15. ■ Germany is negotiating with Turkey for the post-war construction of a tunnel' under the Bosphorus for the Ber-lin-Bagdad railway. Turkey prefers a bridge.
