SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
At the Sailors' Friend Society last night an entertainment was provided by the Lyric Club of the Y.W.C.A. Competitions were heartily ontered into by those present. The missioner (Mr. Moore), who presided, gavo a short address on the tcmporajico question. The club, which was under - tlio leadership of Mr. Pope, met with frequent encores, and a happy cvoning terminated with a hearty vote of thanks to the performers, responded to by Mr. Pope. The following rendered items:—Mrs. Kerry, Misses Fontaine, Allan, Pethorick, and Mr. Pope. Miss Chapman ivas at the piano.
