At tie Supremo Court .to-day, Richard Patrick Pollard was ro-tried before Mr. Justico Edwards On a charge of illegal u6o of an instrument with intent to procure a miscarriage. The girl concerned died in Hospital. Accused at the time of his arrest was recruiting officer- for the Defence Department at Haivera. The jury disagreed, aijd a third trial was ordered.
