TONGARIRO INQUIRY

TO BE HELD IN WELLINGTON. It has now heeu decided that tho inquiry iu connection with tho wreck of tile steamer Tongariro, on Hull Rock, will he held in Wellington instead of Napier on Friday morning next, at 10.30 o'clock. Captain W. J. Heed, of Auckland, who was formerly master on one or two different ocean-going steamers, and Captain Henry Johnson, formerly harbourmaster at Wellington, have been appointed assessors. The inquiry will probably bo held beforo Mr. W. G. Riddoll, S.M.
