OFFICERS ELECTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunodin, September 12. At the. conference of the Executivo of the Railway Officers' Institute, it was decided to request the Department to conserve the right of appeal to members" of the Service absent with the Expeditionary Forces. The action'.of the Executive Committee m requesting payment of the full war bonus for single members with dependants was endorsed. Mr.' J. Young (Wellington) was elected president, Messrs. Casey (Auckland), Hutehings (Wellington). Kane (Duncdin), Jeffries (Napier), and, Angus (Christohurch), vice-presidents; Messrs. Matthewson, Finlayson, Marshall, M'Crack'en, Brooks,®Thomas and Snow, executive committee. Mr. Morgan was reappointed general secretary - and business manager of the "Railways Officers' Advocate" for three years.
