' During the month of August the Talisman Consolidated crushed and treated 1325 tons of ore for a yield of bullion, valued at £7494 lis. lid. Tho cost for tho past month totalled 80s. 2d„ mado up as follows:—Mino development, 31s. sd.;'mining, 245. 7d.; milling, 17s. 7d.; general. 6s. 7d. The directors have sent the following cablegram to London:—"No. 16 level, north drive, progress 26 feet, reef 9tn., adds value 7s. South drivo, progress 2 feet. Crosscut, off isouth drive, progress 24 feet."
