Sir,—l have read "A Soldier's Mother's" letter with interest in tli'rav morning's "Dominion, and can quite understand how unfair .it seems, that tlie Seventeenth Reinforcements should be robbed of their last few nights of leave by being, transferred to Featherston. The Seventeenth Reinforcmenfa had quite enough of Feathcrston the six weeks they were there, and I am sure the people of Wellington agroe with "A Soldier's Mother" that tlie authorities should arrange for them fa stay at Trentham.
