"BLESSING THE AIR"
A FRENCH RELIGIOUS RITE. Zealand Cable Association. (Rec. September 11, 5.50 p.m.) Paris, September 10. Tho ceremony of "blessing the air" was carried out for tho first time on the French Atlantic coast, with the idea of placing the aviators under the Virgin's protection. From a point dominating the sea tho priests blessed "tho air over land and sea."
