By virtue of recent legislation the Public Trustee was authorised to lease the property for a term not exceeding 21 years, with a perpetual right of renewal, and leases in this- form are offered in tho renditions of tender. The. closer settlement of .this valuable property will be of direct advantage to the Carterton district, and it will, it is hoped, at tho same time substantially augment the funds of the home.
