The "Neuesten Nachriehten" says: "Zeppelins have sown our worst foe's terntory with bombs; spreading honor bordering mi insanity. Everywhere 1 immenso flames rose to the sky. In London blocks of houses were torn asunder with a mighty crash. England's defences are again a glorious failure. The inhabitants of Dover and Folkostono trembled, and holidaymakers in Brighton and Hastings broke into a cold sweat. Proud England is filled with overwhelming horror wherever hunted eyes turn to behold' tho fresh pictures of ghastly destruction. _ If nonossary London must be beaten into a gigantic heap of ruins " THE HERO OF THE RAID GETS THE VICTORIA CROSS. . (Rce. September 10, f.o p.m.) London, September 8. Flight Lieut. Robinson, who brought down L2l, received the Victoria Cross from the King at Windsor. Largo crowds cheored him.
