The City Council decided last evening, on the recommendation of the Powerhouses nuil Traimvays < Committee, that the matter of procuring another boiler for the lighting station, and the erection of ail addition to the powerhouse to accommodate it, be postponed !or twelve months, owing to the high price (about .CIO,000). The gcnoral malinger reported that he would be able, by readjusting some of the prosent boiler plant, to deal with "peak" loads in the meantim*.
