The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Featherston: —Corpls.' J. W. Moore, E. F. B. Waters, and W. S. Anderson, J Company,: 20th, to he lance-sergeants; Lce.-Corpl. J. Borthwick, J Company, 18th, to he corporal; Corpl. F. C. Gale, J Company, 18th, to be lance-sergyant; Sergt. T. H. Stone, 20th MiR.,, to be sergeantmajor; Pto. R. Fraser, 20th M.R., to be lance-corporal; Lce.-Corpl. I. F. M'Donald, 17th M.R.,' to bo orderlyroom clerk; Tptr. S. Domett, Permanent Trumpet Band, to he corporal trumpeter; Tptr. H. D.. Donaldson, Permanent Trumpet Band, to be lance-cor-poral trumpctor; Tptr. G. Bcale, Permanent Trumpet Band, to he lancecorporal trumpeter; Gunner P. E. Dickoff, to he farrier (19th N.Z.F.A.). Maior Gunn, Principal Medical Officer, ITeatlierston Military Hospital, acknowledges the following :—Eggs, from Mr. Wigley, of Bideford, Masterton; eggs, from Mrs. G. Wnkeliri> Cartorton; jam and books, from Mrs. Pryer, Masterton; ckrs and flowers, from Mrs. Bisdee, Pahiatua.
The following temporary appointment has been approved by the Camp Commandant at, Trentham: —Pte. R. D. Vincent to bo corporal.
SOLDIERS' CLUB DANCE. At tho Soldiers' Club, Sydney Street, on Saturday evening, another of thoso pleasant/dances which are'bo much appreciated by the men in camp will be given. Members of all the Reinforcement drafts arc invited to attend.
