He confirmed the previous report of the belief of the non-oxistonco of Crocker Laud. He'eays that Admiral Peary made servation6 from a point 130 miles from the Greenland coast. Professor Macmillan and Ensign Groen travelled 150 miles and took observations in clear weather,. which convinced them that what Peary saw was a mirage.
