Mrs. J. P. Luke (Mayoress of 'Wellington) has arranged to meet the Carterton Lady Liverpool Committee this afternoon. Mr. P. S. M'Donald, of Eketahuna, has been appointed to succeed Mr. L. R. Beddall as representative fof Messrs. Dalgetv and Co. in Martinborough: Mr. Beddall has joined th« Farmers' Auctioneering Company of Hamilton. Saturday next is to be "Flower Day" in Carterton, for the purpose of raising _funds to send Christmas parcels to soldiers. The Lady Liverpool Committee will be in charge. Mr. J. Harp.lias been appointed Gar. terton representative , for tho stock department of the W.F.C.A., Ltd.
