Levin audi Company, Feilding, report: During tbo past week we held our yard sales at Hunterville, Kougotea,-£*lrt Fcilding. At Huntcrvillo we had a small yarding. The demand for all classes was good, and prices were well maintained. At Itongotca. we submitted an average yarding of ■ both sheep aid cattle. Hoggets were in. good demand, and prices were slightly better then at last sale. Dairy - cows and stores were well competed for. Heifers, backward, in oalf ; were hard to quit. At I'eilding we had' a, medium entry for sheep and a heavy yarding of cattle. Buyers for hoggets were present from outside districts, and prices were' considerably in advanco of late prices. The drop in the hogget market, 'reported recently, has more than rooovcred, and there is keen inquiry from up-country districts. Pat sheep were hardly, up to the quality of late yardirigs; and prices ruled accordingly. For . all olasses of cattlc there was keen competition, and prices, right through wore, in sellers' favour. Prices for store cattle have, we think,' reached <t dangerously high level; .
