Whitehead applied-to surrender his permit to occupy Section 41, Mataroa Suburbs, 2 roods, as on September- 30, 1916. . It was resolved to accept surrender and to approve.of Mrs. .L.. M'Cullough-. being granted a permit to occupy from year to year, subject to the .usual conditions. A. Dixon applied for a lease of part of Sections G or 8, Block XII, Manganui, lying west of railway, and comprising about GO acres. It was resolved to cancel Mr. Sbeahon's permit and to approve of Mr. Dixon's request. ,
