FROM PARLIAMENT TO THE NOOSE
VACANT SEATS IN AUSTRIAN LEGISLATURE. ("The Times.") Berne, August 30. There have been thirty-five vacant se'ats in the Austrian Parliament since 1914. The lato occupants were mostly hanged or imprisoned for high treason. Horse flesh is selling at two shillings per pound in Vienna, and two shillings and sixpence in Berlin. Tho prico before the war was threepence.
