KENT TERRACE CHURCH
SABBATH SCHOOL ANNIVEBSAEY. Celebrations in connection with the anniversary of tho Kent Terrace Presbyterian Sabbath School were continued last evening, when a tea and entertainment wero held. A capital programme had been arranged, and everything went off satisfactorily. A feature of the entertainment was a hunting song and dance, in costume, by little Rita Howe, while a costume recitation by Miss M. Petersen, entitled "A Child from Japan," was also much enjoyed. The programme was a lengthy one, and the various performers acquitted themselves capably, lii addition to those already mentioned, tho following contributed to tho entertainment of the large audience present:—Recitations, Masters R. Allan and It. Adair, Miss E. Milligan, Misses A. Glover, .D. Sawyer, M. Drummond, Phyllis Adams, D. M'Dowall, and M. M'Kinnon, aud Master J. Leitch. Miss Kathleen Shand and Miss L. Barry played pianoforte solos, and Miss Vera Wallis and Master W. Maclaurin violin solos. Eight little childreu performed a pretty action song, entitled "That Piece of Paper," while Misses L. Barry and L. Simpson contributed a duct. Misses J. Card, D. Sawyer, M. Drummond, Rita Howe, L N. Reed, and F. Card gave a dialogue, called "Slang," while another, entitled "The Gipsy Camp," was given by M. M'Naw, M. M'Kinnon, D. M'Farlane, and M. Bingham. A blindfold boxing competition was given by Masters B. Adair and W. Maclaurin, and the entertainment was brought to a close with a song and chorus, "Britons All," and "God Save the King."
