We have to announce that/the second series of 1916 "Studebaker" cars are now on their wny to New Zealand, per b.6. Pakeha, from Montreal, due to-arrive shortly. These oars come from the Canadian assembling.and finishing branch, Walkerville, Ontario., and are remarkablo for their exceptionally fine finish, necessitated by the demands ,of the overseas Studebaker trade. Many valuable detail improvements are incorporated, in the'second series modols, one or the mjst noteworthy of theso being the provision of independent and separately'aajustablo front seats' of the "bucket" type, together with adjustable pedals. This refinement should especially appeal to the !ady .driver or tho or "short'maii, whose comfort is riot adequately provided for by the usual fixed dimensions in the front" of "thS'car. Another important modification is the relegation of the petrol tank to the'roar of the car, and the provision of a very efficient vacuum feed to > carbpxetter...There are many minor modifications and improvements,., all designed. fe> add to the comfort and convenience of both driver and passengers, while in appearance the car is handsomer than ever.
