On Saturday last the "Wellington Municipal Golf Club j>layed its first match in its short existence against tho Waiwotu Golf Club. Tho result was a win for the Municipal Club by 4 points to 2. Tho details of the individual matches were as follows, giving tho names of tho Waiwetu players first, viz;— Black, $, v. Whitehead, i; Dawson, 0, v. Rhodes, 1: Judd, 1, v. Bowness, 0; Hobbs, 0, v. Tremayne, 1; Collott, 0, v. M'lntosh, 1; Wilkes, j, v. Rogers, £.
