ALLEGED THEFT OF TEA
THREE .ARRESTS IN AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, August 25. Three moil have been arrested in connection with the theft of tea valued at over £200, from L. D. Nathan's tea department. One of the firm's employees arriving earlier than usual found a cart, on which tea in cases was beiiig loaded "by another of .thefirm's employees, There wore already twenty cases on the cart. The polico were, summoned, and as the result of inquiries they proceeded to a shop in Khyber Pass Road, whero they arrested Arthur Edward Btay, storoman, nnd Geo. Harold ltenwick, carter, who wore charged with the theft, and Edmund Thompson, grower, who was charged with having received stolon goods. Accused were beforo the Court to-day, and were remanded.
