At the Police Court to-day two brothers, Arnold and Norman Alderson, were granted exemption from military service on the grounds that it was opposed to their religious belief. Applications for exemption were made in June, when the. youths stated their willingness to serve in t\w Ambulance Corps. They now sti'Lo;! that further study and instructions showed-the applicants that the Christadelphian faith Lo which they belonged forbade military service in any capacity. The Magistrate came to the conclusion that the applicants, in view of family history, had explained the development of their religious belief, and in- good faith obx jected to military service on the grounds that it was contrary to their religious belief.
