Tins week the Fuller Burlesque Company, which lias been playing for some weeks at tho Adolphi Theatre, Sydney, goes to tho Princess, Melbourne, arid the new Italian Opera Co. (in which J. C. Williamson, Ltd., has now an interest) will commence a season at the Adelphi, which I am given to under-' stand is to have- its namo changed to the Grand Opera House. There is a prospect of tho Italian Opera Company being in- Wellington for tho Christmas season, now only four months distant. Messrs. ,T. H. Bethunc and Co. advertise a property auction sale to lie held on September 1, at 2.30 p.m., at their Rooms, Feat'hcrston Street. The salo is being held by instructions from the Public Trustee in tho estate of E. ,T. Williams. The properties are situated in Kilbirnie and Jfaranui, mul include nine residences in Sutherland Road, five of which also have frontages to Buckingham Street, fourteen building,' allotments fronting Rodrigo Road and Buckingham Street, and a block of land containing over an aore and a half fronting Duncan Terrace.
