MONTHLY MEETING
'I'lic monthly meeting of the WellingHarbour Board was held last evening. There were present: Messr3. C. E. Daniell (chairman), R. Fletcher, M. (Solien, A. H. Hindmarsh, R. A. i Wright, 11. Nathan, J. G. Harkness,' William Cable, W. Hildreth, J. W. Jl'Ewan, J. G. Cobbe, A. M'Farlane, and R. E. Sinclair. . Leave of absence was granted to Mr; 0. Jones. The statement of finance showed £42,403 2s. to the credit of the current account; £2578 4s. Id. to the credit of the imprest account, and oil fixed deposit £60,000. The payments were ,as follow:—Accounts and wages, £19,122 16s. Id.; progress payments on contracts, £788 18s ud.; salaries for August, £870 7s. 2d.
