Messrs. WTisht, Stephenson and. Co., Ltd.. report on their sale, held yosLerdeiy, as follows:—A very good yarding of sheep and a medium entry of cattle came forward to-a large attendance of buyers. Bidding at auction was spirited, and with the exception of one line of sheep, tho whole yarding was cleared, at prices in favour of vendors. At Addlngton market to-day there was a large yarding of fat sheep, a fair ontry of cattle, and a small oll'ering of store sheep. • There was- a keen demand for store sfeeep, and supplies were insufficient. . The quality of tho fat cattlo. was mostly moderate, but high prices ruled. The fat sheep market was firm. Graziers competed for unfinished lots.
