« FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for high southwesterly winds generally. Weather unsettled, with cold, sQualiy, and showery conditions. Barometer unsteady in tho south, hot with a strong rising tendcucy everywhere. . Atmospheric pressure has increased eYe-rywh&ro, but, la still low, especially in t.he south. South-westerly winds, stronp to gale, have predominated, with cold and stormy weather.
