HINEMOA'S TIME-TABLE ALTERED. Instead of proceeding on Tuesday on her trip around the lighthouses, the Government steamer Hinemoa will visit Karori Hock light and renew the gas. Owing to the dull weather lately more gas than usual has been used, and the supply is starting to get short. On Wednesday the vessel will commence her trip round the lighthouses, and will shift tho following keepers:—Mr. Hitchcock, from East Cape to Mocraki; Mr. M'Taggart, from Wellington to Otago; Mr. Davis, from Brothers Lighthouse to Portland, to fill a, vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr. Wilkin; and Mr. Hamilton, of Wellington, will take the place of a temporary keeper. The Kowhai left Lyttelton on Saturday night, and will leave hero to-day for IVciO.port amd Greymouth. She will land 4CO lons of cargo from Lyttelton at Wellington.
