♦ LADIES' GAMES; No men's hockey games wore played on Saturday owing to tho parade of the Sixteenth Reinforcements. The ladies' games resulted as follow: — University—Girls' College. • The 6coro in the University and Wellington Girls' College gamo was 5 goals to 1. The game was fast and the quality of the Girls' College play should have won them more than one goal. For the University the scorers were :—• Misses Mander (2), Haase (2), aud Freeth. Miss Marchbanks scored for the Girls' College. Mr. Mansfield was the referee. Ramblers—Huatahi. The result of theißamblers—Huatahi match was greatly in favour of the former team. The scores were: Ramblers, I 10; Huatahi. 1. Ramblers played agood game all through. The scorers for the winners were Misses Pickering (4), Williams (3), and Lang (3). Miss 'George scored the Huatahi goal Mr. Lloyd was the refereo. JUNIOR. The match between Ramblers and the Girls' College was evenly contested and resulted in a draw—2 goals each. Miss Wilkins did the scoring for Ramblers and Misses Shaw and Martin scored for the College. Mr. Sherwood was refereo. St. Augustino's won from Technical College by default. REPRESENTATIVE TEAMS. Two ladies' teams, representative of Wellington players, will meet Christchurch, at Christchurch, on September 9. „
