CAPTURED SUBMARINE
LASHED TO A' BRITISH CRUISER. Australian-New Zealand-Cable Association. New York, August 16. Passengers by the Cunard liner Alaunia say that a captured German submarine, lashed to a British cruiser, was taken to Deal, England. A British destroyer, badly battered, was taken there at the same timo. No details were available.
