• REDUCTION OP PRIZE MONEY. Sydney, August 17. ~.. At the annual meeting of tho Australlan Jockey Club it was announced that ■-.last year tho prize money • had been rcduoed by nearly ,£6OOO. In order to provide a larger sum for patriotic 'purposes, tho prize money would be further reduced this year.
