ffiauter's Telegram.) (Rec. August.l 7, 11.5 p.m.) Kingston, August 17. A cyclone; has swept Southern Jamaica. It is believed that tlio northern portion of the island escaped. The banana crops principally have suffered. Kingston was cut off.. Some deaths are reported. .
