ENTHUSIASTIC! IWIKPTION IN CHR.ISTCHUROH. ,By Telcgrapli—Press Association. Christchurch, August 16. The Sixteenth Reinforcements had an enthusiastic reception on their march through the city to-day. ' The town was full of holiday-makers for the Grand National Meeting. The streets were lined with thousands of cheering people: The troops marched from the station ! to Victoria Square, where they were briefly addressed hv tho Mayor and Colonel Chaffey. They then marched back to the train and were sont south.
