—4 : FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for strong southerly winds, Tearing to westerly. Expect cloudy and unsettled weather, with rain, in many parts of the Dominion. - The barometer is unsteady, with a rising: tendency in the north, but falling again shortly in the south. A oyolonic disturbance has ruled in the north, and the centre is now located off the East Coast of the North Island. Heavy rain fell on Sunday in most parts of the North Island. D. 0. BATES. .
