Linton Fat Stock Sale—A reminder is given of the Linton stook sale to be held on Tuesday next. There is a large entry of sheep, comprising 700 two-tooth to sixtooth wethers, 200 ewes in lamb, 100 mixed hoggets, and 50 extra heavy prime fat sheep, 120 prime Southdown-cross ■ hoggets, 70 prime six-tooth wethers. There will be 60 extra prime bullocks ajid 25 fat and forward bullocks, and 14 choice springing heifers. Buyers from the Manawatu Line are recommended to take the New Plymonth express, leaving Wellington at 8.20 a.m., and they wil<l find the Linton yards opposite the railway station.
