HOUND TABLE DISCUSSIONS.

At a Dominion Conference of the Round Table Groups which was held on Saturday the following /resolutions wero passed:— '

"1. That we welcome the.publication of .Mr. L. Curtis's boob 'The Problem of the Commonwealth,' and recommend its general perusal as a' guide to the solution of the important questions now -urgently pressing within the Empire; and without identifying ourselves with every conclusion arrived at by the writer, we agree that - some form of !c?oser union is essential.

"2. That we agree that the people of .the Dominions should have a voice in questions involving foreign relations and the . defence of the Empire,, and should accept their share of responsibility.

"3. That for the furtherance of these objects we consider that a representative Imperial Convention should be held."
