ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
DEATH UNDER CHLOROFORM.

Rotorua, August 12.
Arthur 51. Potts, aged forty-three, from Taumarunui, collapsed in a private hospital here yesterday afternoon under chloroform, preparatory to ;,a dental operation. Efforts to restore animation by two doctors were unsuccessful. At the inquest this morning Mr. Dyer, the Coroner, returned a verdict of death from heart failure under an anaesthotic. Ho added that everything possible was done and due precautions wore taken.
