Messrs.-Dalgety and Company, Limited, Palmerston North, report having a fair yarding of . cattle at their Palmerston North sale on Thursday. Messrs. Dalgety-and Company, Limited, report having held their weekly sole at Levin on Wednesday, when thoy offered a fair yarding of sheep and a good yarding of cattle. Competition was soipid, and satisfactory prices were mado for all lots offered. The principal sales were as under:—Fat wethers, 345. to 355.; forward four and six-tooth wethers, 325.; cull rams, 14s. Cattle: Fat cowb, £7 155., £9 10s„ to £10 135.: empty heifers, '£4 Bs.; eiehteenmonth heifers, r.w.b., £3 lis. to £4 25.; springing heifers, £4 15s. to £6 55.; small weaner heifers, 215.; springing cows, £9 2s 6i. to £10. At the Upper Hutt sale on Thursday, Messrs. Dalgety and-. Co., Ltd., report havins. offered a good yarding of both sheep and cattle.
