CITY POSITION
The feature of city recruiting this week is the large percentage of fit men. anions the recruits. Up till last evening 85 men had enlisted, and of these G6 had been pa ssed as fit, a percentage of nearly 30. The next draft of City men to go to camp—the twentieth—leaves on August 22. The numbers required from the C'itv are: — 1 A.S.C s Mounted 9 Signallers . 2 Engineers . 1 Ambulance 4 Artjllery 9 Infantry 183 ' Total 219 The latest recruits registered at Buckle Street as fit for active service are: A.
