THE MYSTERY OF THE BREMEN

The captain of the Norwegian ship Meteor reports that wlien off/'the Grand Banks of Newfoundland lie saiv the German submarine Deutschlnnd, which circled the Meteor and then proceeded eastwards. / COMMANDER'S WIFR LIVING IN LONDON. Tho wife of Commander Tujcnig, of tlie Deuisciiland, is English, and lives in a London suburb. She left him in Germany at the outbreak of the war, and has not seen liim since. She says that for the first trip of the submarine lie- was selected because of liis wide knowledge of American ports
