There is intense excitement in the wheat pit consequent 011 the Government report that the 1 DIG wheat yield for the Unitecl States is 355,000,000 bushels less than for 191G, and also the report of the spread of black rust in Canada. Fortunes wero made and lost in a few hours. Heavy foreign buying shot up the prices, the day's net gain being 11=3" cents per bushel. The closing prices were: I'or September options, 144?; cents; December options, 148 cents.
