Jersey.oitji (New York), Aug. 10. The ombargi on shipments ot munitions consequent on the great explosions in Now York lias been lifted by the Caurt. -As the result of a suit by the Canadian Car Foundry Company, two Norwegians, named Erling Iverson and Exel Larsen, have been held in custody as suspects iti connection with the explosion. They had suspicious papers in their" possession. CERMAN PLOTTERS. New York, August 10. ■The police are investigating information they have received indicating that the recent explosion in New -York was tlio work of Gennan plotters, who are trying to prevent tho shipment of munitions. A .letter lias been discovered showing, that: the explosion which wrecked .explosive-carrying vessels at Seattle early, in,1915 was- tlie w4rk of Germans: ■; A Jotter found in tho-mail'to Ger- . many says: "I disappeared from Seattle suddenly"' because 1 lielped in sending
to the bottom of tho harbour a- shipment of explosives for tho Russians. I ■'* will not hesitate to do tho same again." The Federal authorities are investigating the matter. ,
