. ■ THE TIVOI.I FOLLIES. Last evening, at the Grand Opera House, the popular merrymakers, Tho Tivoli Follies, again demonstrated their ability io dispense Inn. Included in tho now programme is a sido-splitting burlesque, entitled "The Yaudcvillo Show," in which the irrepressible George Welch plays a leading part.- " "Tito Piano Movers" is another laughable turii, in which Mossrs. Cannot, Welch, and Rego provide tho mirth. Miss Vera Pearce, "tho Queen of tho Follies." again received an ovation. Her songs are catchy, and .she dances daintily and without effort." Her "l'oi Dance" is a feature of the entertainment. Miss Thelma Kayo and Mr. Franli Greene contribute soma very pleasing items. T-ha Follies will appear again this evening, and a matinee will,bo.held to-morrow afternoon. HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. Tho principal ; attraction at His Majesty's Theatre this week isi,undoubtedly jtr. Bert La Blanc's Company of travesty Stars. This little conipail}' provide no end of 'lnerrinTcnt, besides delightful songs, dances, and ballots. Another particularly popular turn is that provided by the "Buuty Pulls the Strings" Comedy Company. Kitchio and Kliftio aro good acrobats, while tilio Misses Miles and Fallon sing a- variety of delightful songs. There are other good items also on tho bill. THE KING'S THEATRE. Tho final presentation of tho 'Vit-a-graph's fine adaptation of Dickens'B great historical novel, ' A Talo of Two Cities," will be given to-night at tho King's Theatre. A good supporting programme is also shown.
"THE ALL-BED ROUTE." Ono of the most striking achievements of tho motion picture is the 'bringing of tho world overseas to our very doors; strange countries and people; /scenorv that is world-renowned; historical buildings, a.ud cities that hitaerto have only been heard of, are accessible by means of the film. Travel pictures aro always popular, and ono of tho host of these is •'The All-Red' Route," which will be screened twico daily' for a week at the King's Thea,tre, commencing at tho matinee to-morrow. The picture portrays a journey from Sydney to London by way of Auckland, Fiji, Honolulu, and Canada. It' occupies more than half the programme, and throughout its showing, it is claimcd, never fails to be exceeding-., ly interesting aud entertaining. Tho film was remarkably well received in Auckland last week. .Other pictures on the programme will include a clover Vita graph comedy,' ".Count 'Em," featuring the popular artists, Anita Stewart and EaTlo "Williams; the "Pathe Gazette,"' and a good drama. Tho box plans are now on view at The Bristol.
EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. The present programme at Everybody's will be screened for tlio last time tonight. "The Eagles' Nest," a Lubin sisreel drama, is a picture which has many exciting incidents crowded into it. Other good subjects are "ilutt and .Teff in an Aeroplane," and the "Gaaimont Graphic." Commencing at noon to-morrow another ■ now programme will bo screened, tho principal feature bein§ an Ince Triangle production, "The Raiders," described as a remarkable drama of the Stock Exchange, featuring the well-known actor, H. B. Warner. Tho picture finishes with 1 on exciting situation of rare power. Thero are 6evaral other strong supporting subjects on the programme. EMPRESS THEATRE. To-night tho last performance will be given of the emotional drama "Youth" at tho Empress Theatre. The plot is one of essential simplicity, its distinctive interest and appeal being derived from the deft and graceful manner im which tho story is tuld. In the Triangle-Keystone farce comedy, "Tho Bright Lights," Jlabel Norniand and 'Tatty" Arbuckle l;eep the audience highly amused for half an. hour. To-morrow morning the pro' gramme will be changed, and "Sealed Lips" will bo presented. It is a five-act Equitable world film drama, that has been a great success in America. "JANE SHORE." The historical photo-play based on the life of Jane- Shore, who in medieval times as tus mistress of Edwnrd IV, was shown again at the Concert Chamber last evening. The picture is presented with a wealth of detail that is amazing, whilst in those scones where tho opposing armies of York and Lancaster are conccrnod, thousands of people appear' to bo employed. The picture will be presented again this evening, and on Snturdny and Monday. A matineo will bo given at 2.30 on Saturday, children being admitted at half-pricc.
