During the twelve months ended Juno 30, 1916, the exports ,of frozen ®meat amounted to £7,314,418, - as. compared with ■ £5,660,553 in the provious" year, an. inoreaso of £1,653,865, while the exports of dairy produce : amounted. •to £5,886,466. against £4,614,271, an increase of £1,272,195. These three groups totalled! £25,320,569, <is iagainst' £20,182,494, an increase of £5438,075. Customs dutv collected' at the port of Wellington yesterday amounted to £350 3s. 4d. Tho annual report of the Kaiapoi Woollen Company states' that the business of the year proved to bo greatly in excess of tho estimate. This has made itself felt in tho financial result of the year's working. The directors, therefore, 1 recommend a dividend' to ordinary shareholders of 8 per cent, and a bonus of 2 per cent., and to preference shareholders of 7 per cent, and a bonus 'of 2 per cent. , , r. : ' .
