The session of Parliament just ended jWasoneof- the briefest on record. The shortest was in 1906, when the session lasted only 70 days. The recent session endured'for 92 days. There are only nine shorter, and they are very ' little shorter. ■ The , recent session opened on May 9, and ended on August 8, tliei total days occupied, being 92. There were 58 days of meeting', and the House sat for 350 hours 20 minutes before midnight, and for 35 hours 8 minutes after midnight. The totai number of hours the House sat totalled 385J-, the''daily average being 6 hours 38 minutes.
